Scam Awareness Event 22.2.23

The Social Prescribers hosted a scam awareness talk for the Prospect House Surgery & John Hampden Surgery patients at the Prestwood Community Hall on 22nd February 2023.

The local Trading Standards Officer and the Community Safety Officer for Bucks County Council gave a talk on scams, what to watch out for and how to protect yourself, the presentation also covered safety around the home and examples of practical measures that can be taken to keep safe; it was extremely well received by the patients who attended and there were lots of goodies available at the end to take away to protect themselves against fraud and scams.
